Galveston’s Own Farmers Market
August 13 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Galveston’s Own Farmers Market brings locally grown produce, prepared foods, and edible farm products to residents of Galveston and the surrounding areas every Sunday morning. We strive to foster a greater sense of community; all while supporting farmers + producers, and connecting individuals with their local food economy.
Interested in becoming a vendor? Please email the Market at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a vendor application. Applications are reviewed on Wednesdays, so be sure to send it in by or before the Wednesday prior to the weekend you wish to sell.
Founded in 2012, Galveston’s Own Farmers Market is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization operating every Sunday morning on Galveston Island in coastal Texas.
Our weekly outdoor market provides a direct connection to vendors creating and growing fresh whole foods, including farms, ranches, bakeries, cheese-makers and specialty-foods producers.
GOFM is operated by a paid manager, all-volunteer Board of Directors and countless efforts and hours from volunteers in the community. Our organization is funded solely by vendor fees, and receives no city, state or federal funding.
